Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of SpeakDance at speakdance.com (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service does
SpeakDance turns a script into an AI-generated voiceover and an AI-generated talking-head video, using a photo and a voice that you choose (a preset, or one you upload). Every video carries a visible “AI-generated” label.
2. Accounts
- You can sign in with email, Google, GitHub or, where available, a phone number. Accounts with the same verified email are treated as one account.
- You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think it has been misused.
- You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the European Economic Area) to use the Service.
3. Your photos, voices and scripts
- Consent is required. You may only upload a photo or voice of yourself, or of a person who has given you written permission. You confirm this each time you upload.
- You keep ownership of what you upload and of the videos and audio you generate. You give us a limited licence to store and process that content only to provide the Service to you.
- We do not use your uploads, scripts or outputs to train AI models.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- impersonate anyone, or create content that a reasonable viewer would mistake for a real statement by a real person without their consent;
- create fraud, scams, misleading advertising, political disinformation, or content that harasses, defames or threatens anyone;
- create sexual content, or any content involving minors in a sexual or harmful way;
- break any law, or infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights;
- remove or hide the “AI-generated” label when you publish a video. Many platforms also require you to turn on their own AI-content label.
We may refuse, remove or stop processing content, and suspend accounts, that break these rules.
5. Balance, pricing and refunds
- Generation is paid from your account balance at the prices shown before you submit. The estimated amount is held when you submit and the final charge is based on the actual audio length, never more than the amount held.
- If a job fails, or you cancel it while it is still queued, the held amount is refunded to your balance automatically.
- Balance has no cash value and cannot be withdrawn or transferred. Free or promotional credit may expire or be changed.
6. SMS verification messages
Subscribers will opt-in via https://speakdance.com to receive verification messages from SpeakDance, powered by AWS Notify. Message frequency may vary per user.
Text “HELP” for help. Text “STOP” to cancel.
Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Availability and changes
The Service is in beta. Generation depends on GPU capacity, and jobs may wait in a queue. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. We will post changes to these Terms on this page and update the effective date; continuing to use the Service means you accept them.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is”. AI output can be inaccurate or imperfect, and you are responsible for reviewing it before you publish it. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected]. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.
